Critical Illness Benefit
This cover is provided as a rider to any of our group products.
It provides an accelerated death benefit which is payable when a member of a Group scheme is diagnosed, for the first time and before the age of sixty five years, with one of following conditions i.e. heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, cancer, kidney failure, paraplegia and paralysis, stroke and major organ transplant.
The benefit is used to cater for medical expenses of an employee or to purchase a loan repayment holiday for a borrower.
Funeral Expense Benefit
This cover is provided as a rider to any of our group products. Its aim is to cover the cost of burial expense of borrower, employee, their spouse or children.
The sum assured normally ranges from Kshs.30,000 to Kshs.200,000. The amount of benefit chosen depends one’s ability to pay.
On death of a member, the sum assured is payable within 48 hours of receiving death notification and documentation.
Permanent Total Disability
- This cover is provided as a rider to any of our group policies.
- This rider pays the Sum Assured on a borrower or employee becoming disabled as a result of an accident or illness.
