Work Injury Benefits Act
The Work Injury Benefits Act came into force on June 2 2008 replacing the Workmen’s Compensation Act. The Act makes it compulsory for every employer to provide cover for all their employees against bodily injury that they may suffer while in their employ.
Compensation under the Act covers medical expenses as well as last expense arising out of an accident or illness.
